Who can live without it?

Music is so important for me. I always listen to it in my house, on my way to university, when I study. I love listening to music with my brother or my boyfriend or my parents. It's so interesting to know about different styles of music because I think these represent many cultures and movements in the human history.

I like different kinds of music: brit pop, chilean rock, hardcore, rock metal. In general rock is my favorite because its lyrics represent my feelings. Also I like its melodys and chords. I love sound of guitar and bass!. The bass is my favorite instrument and I play it and I really enjoy this.
Some groups that I listen are: Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Muse, Los Bunkers, Bad Religion, Los Tres and System of a down.

Last year I went at the concerts of Radiohead and Depeche Mode in Chile. It was an amasing experence in my life!. I never forget these events. It so different listen the instruments in live.
I download my music on internet, because is easy, fast and free. I really like buy CD'S or DVD's but they so many expensive in this country.

Every kind of music that I listen, represent my feeling in some moments. For example when I am sad, I prefer listen Radiohead or Los Bunkers because they have sad lyrics. It's verry depresive. But I'm happy I listen Depeche Mode, they rithims are nice and happy, I love dancing they songs!.
When walk to university I prefer listen hardcore songs and metal songs, they are my form to wake up. Finally when I study I need more peace, so I listen slow music such as Portishead, Dido or Keane.

I think that Music is very important in human life because it's a part of our history, relate a lot of events and personally music fell my soul and my life.

I love music !! :)

Earthquake: My singular history

This is a particular history: I don't felt the earthquake.

Why? Because I was on vacation in Chiloé, in my aunt's house. This night I felt a little movement but nobody woke up for this one.

In the morning my aunt woke up us (my cousins, my boyfriend, some friends and I) and told us about earthquake in Santiago. We didn't know the intensity and the gravity of this fact. We dind´t have light, wather. We couldn't contact anybody. I felt so sad, because I really wanted to be with my family. I couldn't travel because weren't busses, the road had many damages, it was dangerous pass for these.

After 1 week, we could come back home with my boyfriend and my cousin. It was very exciting return to see my parents, I missed theme. My apartment was really good, didn't have damages.

Then, I devoted gather clothes for the victims on the "7th región".

Thinking now in this horrible earthquake, I believe that we must stay together, organize as community for be prepared before this class of events.
